Growing up in Podunk, Oklahoma to very boring parents I had never even HEARD of a Ren Faire much less been to one. When I was 17 I joined the AirForce and got stationed in Monterey, CA from July-Nov '03. (If you happen to have been at DLI during that time as well feel free to hit me up with a message!!) I think it was late september or so when North Faire came to Gilroy, CA, just a few miles away from where I was. After a long night of drinking (yes I was underage, so sue me) I woke up early, with no hangover as usual, and drug everyone out to the faire bc I had never been. OMG I fell in love instantly. The food, the shops, the smells and most of all the CLOTHES!!! Women in Corsets every where and men in kilts who's behinds were fair game... I loved the shows, the atmosphere, and getting hit on for flaunting my own cleavage in a Victorian corset (cut me some slack, it was my first faire). I swear if I hadn't been with the guy was kinda seeing at the time I would have been staying the night with the cute, long haired Squire. I wish I had more than just memories but I didn't have a camera and I was also broke... Comes of being an E-1 in the military. I hear that they don't have Faire at Gilroy anymore, Can anyone confirm or deny that for me??

I have been on here for a couple of days so I suppose I should post some bloggage. The photo is from my days when I was escorting... yes I was a very bad girl but it was alot of fun and the money was good. Actually I just got out of the biz a few months ago, and that photo is only 4months old... I think I look a bit like a saloon girl but I'll let you make the call...
